The CII Global Summit on Industry–Academia Partnerships (IAP) is a premier
platform that brings together industry leaders, academic institutions, research
Labs, policymakers, startups, and global partners to strengthen collaboration,
accelerate innovation, and drive India’s research-to-market journey. The Summit
also honors outstanding partnerships through the CII Industry–Academia
Partnership Awards.
The second edition of the Summit will take place in 2025 at a leading venue in
New Delhi, India. Exact dates and venue details will be shared shortly on the
official CII event page.
Participation is open to leaders and professionals from industry (large, MSME,
and startups), academia, research labs, government, funding agencies,
foundations, CSR arms, and family businesses committed to advancing
innovation and education.
Registrations will open online via the CII events portal. Participants can purchase
tickets by visiting the official summit webpage, selecting their delegate category,
and completing the registration process.
Winning a CII IAP Award recognizes exemplary collaboration between industry
and academia, showcasing best practices that drive innovation, commercial impact, and talent development. Winners gain national visibility, credibility, and
opportunities to scale their initiatives.
You can participate as a delegate, exhibitor, speaker, or panelist. You may also
submit nominations for the CII IAP Awards or showcase your technology
solutions in the Innovation-to-Contract exhibition zone.
CII offers multiple partnership opportunities, including sponsorships, branding,
and thought-leadership roles. Interested organizations can contact the CII
secretariat to explore customized partnership packages.
Key themes include technology transfer and IP management,
